In 2013, two like-minded friends who embraced the same passion for music, step out onto the world stage and strum away the acceptance level in which mediocrity floods the bandwidth of an entire local industry.

They ride the waves across a multitude of frequencies just to arrive at an outstanding decibel, which brings to birth an extraordinary concept in the form of a unique space. Where young, talented singers, musician, composers, sound engineers and music producers gather to experiment, create and produce fresh, innovative sounds.

The vision is to gain a steady flow of exciting Malaysian artistes and propagate the variety of media platforms and mega concert events with their performances. Paired with the amplitude of consistency in blending together ideas that transcend the norm.

GT Records is the embodiment of collaboration, creativity and ingenuity. With the combined experience of over 50 years between the founders, GT Records has synthesised a remarkable reputation for high quality sounds and creative music compositions.

GTR Audio is the special division dedicated to producing audio for TV and Radio commercials, corporate and web-based videos and feature movies. Our services include music composition, sound designing, live sound recording and all other audio production support. Our pool of music composers have each their own unique artistic approach, which provide us with an advantage for being able to produce a wide variety of style in music. Our sound designers are/designer is renowned for bringing visuals to life in a creatively impactful manner. We are passionate about what we do and have the experience in producing sounds for clients, namely Petronas, Lenovo, Kleenex, Telekom Malaysia, Honda, Nissan, Petron, Dutch Lady, 100+, Tourism Malaysia, Red Bull and many more.

Our label represents the finest aesthetic of cutting edge music and youth culture. Founded by avid music fans and sound enthusiasts, our commitment is apparent in every piece of music we produce achieved the through passion, skill and attention to detail. The label focus on supporting artists by embracing like-minded talents from across the country. The studio provides artists an environment to craft their magic with full audio recording facilities and production expertise that include experienced engineers, arrangers, composers, producers, songwriters, and lyricists. GTXperiment is a band that was formed by artists under our stable. Clinton Liew, Daryll Diengdoh, and Jude Macson are singers in their own right. And collectively as a band, They have been getting air-time over the radio and MTV Asia. Cleo Magazine Singapore recently just included them in their list of “5 Asian Artists to Check Out”.

You’ve heard of Binaural Audio sounds, now add in the “space” factor that surrounds you and the result is Spatial Sound. As a demonstration, when you hear a sound from your left and you turn towards it, the sound will now be in front of you. immersive worlds are creative imitations of the real world, in which sound and the auditory function play far more of an operative role than we tend to realise. The information we receive through our ears need to match the information we receive through our eyes while keeping the same level of immersion. We understand just how vital it is to achieve the desired quality in live action sounds at the movie set. Damned if you don’t already know how difficult it gets to do dubbing without location sound. And we’ll make it seem easier than it is with our fully trained location sound crew, operating on the latest equipment, right from the start of production.
